Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RealHedgehog ("RealHedgehog", "we", "us"), an AI video-clipping service available at realhedgehog.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

RealHedgehog lets you submit a video, stream, or podcast (by link or file) and uses automated processing to produce shorter vertical clips with captions and scoring. Output quality, clip selection, and "virality" scores are generated by automated models and are provided for convenience only. We do not guarantee any particular result, reach, or performance of any clip.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your location) to use the Service. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Your content and rights

You retain ownership of the videos you submit and the clips we generate from them. By submitting content, you represent and warrant that you own it or have all rights, licenses, and permissions necessary to submit it and to have it processed, and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party right (including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights).

You are solely responsible for the content you submit and for how you use the clips we produce.
You may not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that you do not have the right to process.
You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content only as needed to provide the Service to you.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, resell, or abuse the Service; (b) circumvent usage limits, credits, or watermarks; (c) upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service; (d) use the Service to infringe others' rights or to create misleading, deceptive, or harmful content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Credits, plans and payment

The Service runs on a credit model. Free accounts receive a limited number of trial credits. Paid plans grant a monthly credit allotment and additional features. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice.

Subscriptions are billed through PayPal on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method.
Credits are consumable and have no cash value. Unused credits may not roll over unless stated on your plan.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, models, design, and branding, is owned by RealHedgehog and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that clips will achieve any result.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RealHedgehog will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you retain the benefit of any mandatory protections of your home nation's law.
